Behibd Closed Doors Review
What happens behind closed doors isn’t anyone else’s business.
Developed by Polygonal Wolf and published by Sometimes You, Behibd Closed Doors is a pixelated game that combines different genres. 8-Bit sound, garish colours and basic imagery all merge to create a strange and fascinating story. It flits between side-scrolling platforming and top down shooting whilst the simple but varied locations help to break up the monotony of this weird and wonderful title.
The game does throw a few snags and curveballs into the mix but the majority of levels are incredibly easy and there is little to no replay value. The game is also over after a few hours of play, which is incredibly short for an indie title and it only offers a handful of boss fights and minimal challenges as you steamroller through each chapter.
It’s a great example of how things can look perfect on the outside but they are really horrendous and gut wrenching on the inside. A fantastic and compelling tale that keeps you hooked from the very first chapter.
